Real Deal Furniture and Mattress is proud to be a U.S. Military Veteran family owned and operated company. Since the day we started our company out of our garage in 2005 we have been on a mission to create the most exciting, positive and low pressure atmosphere and provide the most outstanding V.I.P. customer service the industry has ever seen. We believe that the level of one’s success both in life and in business are measured by the amount and quality of service you provide everyday you are alive. Because of this philosophy our popularity has grown immensely so we have had no choice but to expand 5 times in our first 6 years in business to accommodate our ever growing loyal customer base. We have gone from about 1800 square feet to now over 30,000 square feet of showroom and warehouse space including a clearance center open everyday where we sell overstock and closeout items at or below our cost.
We also believe that the work begins once the sale is made. This means precise communication before and during the sales process as well as constant follow up afterwards until the merchandise is in our customer’s home safely. This attention to detail adapted from the owner’s Military background has helped us become the highest rated furniture and mattress store in San Diego in customer service and satisfaction. So what sets us apart from all the other stores who say they’re the best? It’s simple, they claim it and we have the awards to prove it.
Yes 30,000 square feet is huge compared to our garage however we realize that this is still very small compared to the “big guys”! Because we are working with less space we have had to get creative and design a business model that can compete with even the largest furniture and mattress companies in San Diego.
Basically, we needed to do something original and something that no other business has done or is willing to do.First and most importantly we have designed a non commissioned sales model which has created a no pressure atmosphere second to none. Unheard of in the furniture and mattress industry! No stalking at Real Deal!
Second, we give all of our customers direct access to over 100 of our “dealer only” catalogs in our showroom where you will find 1000’s of home furnishing and outdoor patio furniture items to choose from. Combine this along with our newly enhanced website which now has over 1000 products on it and we can confidently say that we have a larger selection than all the “big guys” put together in San Diego! We also give you 100’s of configuration options and on many models we can actually customize it down to the exact inch. We are San Diego’s leader in custom sofas and sectionals with more USA made frames on display than any other company. You will see the same styles that you see at Pottery barn, West Elm, Z-gallery, Crate and Barrel, and other over priced “high end” retail furniture stores, all at up to 70% below retail everyday!
We also now have the largest specialty mattress selection in town to ensure the highest quality sleep for our customers. In addition to our Tempurpedic style memory foam mattresses and Individually pocketed coil Simmons Beautyrests, we have recently added natural latex mattresses, Comforpedic memory foam, the new GelTouch Bed as well as the famous NXG mattress. (Next Generation of memory foam).
